Statutory Financial Governance

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Fair, transparent, and legally compliant refund frameworks for charitable contributions, online transactions, and statutory compliance.

1

Donation Refunds & General Principles

ANUDIPTI FUTURE FOUNDATION values every single voluntary donation and the trust our patrons and corporate partners place in our social mission. This policy outlines the specific circumstances under which donations, event contributions, and membership fees may be reviewed for refunds.

As a registered non-profit Section 8 organization, voluntary contributions are immediately allocated to ongoing humanitarian relief, computer science laboratories, school transformations, and healthcare outreach. Therefore, donations are generally non-refundable once processed and deployed.

2

Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be formally considered and processed strictly under the following technical or erroneous circumstances:

  • Duplicate Transaction: If a donor is charged multiple times for a single intended donation due to payment gateway timeout or network latency.
  • Technical Processing Glitch: If funds were debited from the donor's account but the transaction failed to register or generate a valid transaction ID.
  • Unintended Extra Digit / Incorrect Amount: If a donor accidentally entered a substantially erroneous amount (e.g. ₹50,000 instead of ₹5,000) and reported it immediately within the designated review window.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If an unauthorized electronic payment is reported and verified by the issuing bank or payment gateway.

Time Limit: All refund requests must be reported within 7 calendar days of the transaction date.

3

Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be entertained in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after the donation has been acknowledged and processed.
  • Donations that have already been allocated or disbursed for disaster relief, student scholarships, or hospital medical supplies.
  • Active membership registration fees after the verification and digital Member ID card issuance.
  • Campaign-specific crowd-funding contributions where the emergency relief drive has closed.
  • Requests submitted after the expiration of the 7-day review window.
4

Membership Fee Refund Rules

Annual member onboarding fees cover administrative due diligence, identity card verification, QR database hosting, and orientation materials. Once an application is approved and digital ID credentials are generated, the fee is non-refundable.

However, if a membership application is rejected by the foundation during initial background verification, 100% of the membership fee will be automatically refunded within 10 to 14 working days to the original source account.

5

Step-by-Step Refund Request Process

To initiate a formal refund review:

  1. Send an official email to info.anudipti@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request - [Transaction ID]".
  2. Include the Donor Full Name, Registered Mobile Number, Transaction Reference/Order ID, Payment Date, Amount, and the exact reason for the refund request.
  3. Attach proof of payment (bank debit SMS screenshot or payment gateway receipt).
  4. Our finance committee will review and verify bank logs within 7 working days.
  5. Upon approval, the refund will be credited back strictly to the original source account / payment method within 10-14 working days. No cash or alternative third-party account refunds are permitted under PMLA regulations.
6

Cancellation & Recurring Contribution Rules

  • One-time donations cannot be cancelled once processed by the payment gateway.
  • Monthly recurring contributions (if activated) can be cancelled at any time by contacting our support desk or through the donor dashboard. Cancellation takes effect from the succeeding billing cycle.
  • Event participation registrations can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled campaign for a full refund.
7

Statutory Tax Implications under Section 80G

Important 80G Tax Notice: If any voluntary donation is refunded, the Section 80G Tax Exemption Certificate issued for that transaction stands automatically VOID. The donor cannot claim tax deduction under Section 80G in their Income Tax Return (ITR), and the transaction will be reported as cancelled in statutory Form 10BD filings.
Statutory Redressal Mechanism

Compliance & Grievance Redressal Officer
